Your Second Visit to Our Denver Practice

The second visit to our office is the most exciting.  On this visit 4 questions will be answered.  What is wrong with me?  Can chiropractic help?  How long will it take to get well? And how much will it cost?

Dr. Melling will review your X-Rays after you have viewed another short video designed to help you understand the specifics of your spine and how it relates to your condition.  You will then receive your first adjustment followed by a therapy such as muscle stimulation, massage or ultrasound, if your condition requires.

Muscle Stimulation aides in healingUltrasound Therapy is pain free and very therapeutic

The length of your treatment plan is totally dependent upon your condition.  Degenerative changes, such as worn discs, can take longer where an acute injury to a young spine will respond much quicker.  How long you continue to treat , whether it is only until you are out of pain or if you continue for wellness in life..is ALWAYS up to you.

Any financial concerns will be handled by our insurance staff at the end of your second visit. You will be scheduled at the front desk for your treatment plan, which is a series of visits that Dr. Melling had prepared for you in order to correct your current condition.

Dr. Melling Asks some important questions of interest to Denver residents - Chiropractor Denver Dr. Melling Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
